What’s new at Redfield?
NEW Graphics Professional Series courses offered by the University of Nevada, Reno for Spring 2008
Graphics Professional Series courses from Extended Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno provide an introduction to the Adobe® Creative® Suite 3 (CS3) software package, offering participants an opportunity to build a solid knowledge base and hone existing skills with courses in the latest versions of Adobe® Dreamweaver®, Flash®, InDesign, ® Photoshop® and more.
The series offers courses for beginning and experienced graphic artists, Web designers, students and hobbyists for professional advancement and personal enrichment. Program participants can produce work for professional portfolio development or learn the basics of buying and using digital cameras and build from there.
Courses are held at the University’s Redfield Campus, 18600 Wedge Parkway, Reno. Course fees include course materials and parking. The following courses may be taken independently and require no formal admission to the University.

In a joint announcement May 9 at the Redfield campus, Sierra Pacific Resources Chairman and CEO Walter Higgins said the company has donated $500,000 to create an industry-education partnership with the University.
